Created by Filmmaker and Producer Trent Duncan, the End of Days Film Challenge is a 30-day Apocalyptic filmmaking competition that allows registered teams the creative freedom to shoot a short apocalyptic film without the major constraints of a traditional competition. The biggest difference is that the End of Days Film Challenge allows teams to choose their own theme, rather assigning one specific genre or having to randomly pick a genre.
There are still specific elements each team must incorporate into the film to keep the integrity of the 30-day shoot period. Those elements include a character name and occupation, an action, a prop, a line of dialogue, and any apocalyptic theme. The best part is, each filmmaker has the freedom to incorporate thier own unique storyline ranging from zombies, aliens, vampires, ghosts, viruses, asteroids, nuclear war, and even political or economic takeover. Just as long as the theme revolves around society or the world ending.
Registered teams will have 30 days to write, shoot, edit, and score their apocalyptic film. For more information, read the Official Rules. So don’t wait! Register today and create your apocalyptic film depicting the End of Days!
