The first annual End of Days Film Challenge is beginning its first year by allowing filmmakers to end the world and to be part of a feature film. The End of Days Film Challenge is a 30-day apocalyptic film competition where teams create their own vision depicting the end of the world. Additionally, the top four films will be featured in our End of Days feature film!

Beginning September 1st, 2014, teams will have 30 days to write, shoot, edit, and score their 9 – 12 minute apocalyptic film. Each filmmaker will have the freedom to choose the worlds demise, be it zombies, aliens, vampires, ghosts, viruses, asteroids, nuclear war, and even political or economic takeover. Just as long as the films theme revolves around society or the world ending. Choose one or choose them all and show us your vision of the end!

The producers of the competition will also be taking the best four films and combining them into their End of Days feature film anthology. Once the films are chosen, additional footage will be shot to intertwine all the movies, making one epic feature film. The End of Days producers have been working with their sponsors Digi Distribution and Distribber to arrange and secure distribution for the movie. Each contributing filmmaker will be entitled to the revenue generated from the sale and distribution of the film. The event is one of a kind, allowing contestants of all skill levels to participate with the hopes of being part of the creation of a feature film.

After the competition, the winners of the 15 award categories and the four chosen films will be announced via an online video ceremony. The winners will be notified and the trophies will be mailed accordingly. All contestants interested in showcasing their films will be allowed to post them on the End of Days website for all to see. Early entry into the competition is now open to valid U.S. residents in all 50 States. For more information, please visit our website at
